Board Members

Do you have an interest in empowering individuals with mental illnesses and developmental disabilities?  Life Plan Trust Incorporated welcomes Board volunteers to help us enhance the lives of people with special needs.  We invite individuals with multidisciplinary backgrounds including social workers, healthcare providers, attorneys, accountants, bankers, and family members to join us in making effective decisions for our loved ones with disabilities.  We meet every quarter and look forward to hearing your ideas as we problem solve, identify, advocate, and analyze organizational goals to help enhance the future care and lives of our beneficiaries.

Board Member Responsibilities –  

The basic legal responsibility of a Board member is to exercise reasonable business judgment and do what is in the best interests of the nonprofit and its stakeholders or donors. This responsibility requires Board members to put aside their personal interests and opinions when performing Board duties and participating in decision-making.
